HIGHLY SENSITIVE PERSON

Sensory Processing Sensitivity

A PERSONALITY TRAIT PRESENT IN APPROXIMATELY 30% OF THE WORLD POPULATION

Sensory Processing Sensitivity (SPS) is a personality trait involving "an increased sensitivity of the central nervous system and a deeper cognitive processing of physical, social and emotional stimuli.” In essence, it means that some people experience the world more intensely and this can easily create sensory overwhelm and overload. According to the available research, people with SPS make up about 30% of the world population, exhibiting various degrees and manifestations of it.

How do I apply my SPS training to my practice?

SPS is neither a gift nor a weakness. It is a neurobiological condition that affects the way we perceive the world. By working with me you will benefit from:

AN EXHAUSTIVE
PERSONALITY STUDY

We know how global mobility can stretch us all (sensitive or not!), My training in SPS allows me to complement the evaluation of my clients and make a distinction between those symptoms that could be the consequence of a highly sensitive nervous system in a disruptive environment and those that are actually the result of some type of mental health issues or personality disorder.

LIFE-CHANGING
RESULTS

Demystifying and understanding how your sensitivity shapes the way you experience the world is just the beginning.

By “owning” the pros and cons of your SPS, you’ll be empowered to face your life with greater sensitivity and adaptability. Together, we’ll work towards life-changing results that help you thrive in a world that can sometimes feel overwhelming.

COLLABORATION OPPORTUNITIES

As a researcher, professional, and highly sensitive individual, I am passionate about sharing my knowledge and experience through outreach activities and professional training.

I offer seminars, workshops, and training both in-person and online in four languages (French, Spanish, Catalan, and English), where I share scientific advancements and suggestions for future research related to my expertise in SPS, sensitive international mobility, and intercultural relationships.

If you are interested in collaborating with me on any activity, please do not hesitate to contact me through this form so that we can explore possibilities together.
